Important here was to find an Accountant with strong technical skills for an international multi-branch environment who could also understand the pricing and business model in a people-based consultancy. As with all of our assignments, our client required a hands-on Accountant, capable of working closely with the Management team. 

Here formal accounting qualifications were not important. Key to the assignment was to find a hands-on Accountant from the fashion industry who could manage the stock and working capital issues in a tightly funded import business and had strong knowledge of letters of credit, import documents and invoice discounting.

Key for this owner-managed Hotel / Property business was to find a candidate with relevant high calibre experience, but who could culturally fit into a close-knit family business. We successfully found a Big 4 qualified ACA with a background as an FC in fund management in the leisure and property sector.

A classic role, we sourced an experienced Accountant who is capable of doing 'everything' in a small finance function, not too proud to post journals and maintain the ledgers and also highly capable of producing quality management information, statutory accounts, budgets and cashflows and dealing with HMRC issues.

Not a standard Purchase Ledger role! Our brief was to find a Manager who was happy to do a sole charge role. Our client was a complex Property business, so the successful candidate needed the communication skills to deal with demanding Building Managers and also the organisation skills to deal with a huge volume of utility bills.
 

When asked to source a credit controller, we search for a disciplined individual who has a passion for reducing debtor days and meeting targets, yet the tact and diplomacy to deal sensitively with important clients. But of course they must have the focus needed when customers become difficult. This assignment was no exception.
